This is interesting.
The Anti-Defamation League wrote Glenn Beck and apologized for its sloppy and dangerous work less than a month ago. They apologized for listing Glenn Beck as an anti-Semite in their communication:
Here’s the letter, via Free Republic and the Glenn Beck website:
Dear Glenn:
A Direct-mail piece recently sent to some ADL supporters around the country inadvertently misidentified you on a list of celebrities who had made anti-Semitic statements over the past year.
This was clearly a mistake, and we deeply regret that your name was included in the mailing, which was produced by an independent, third-party contractor. I hope you will accept my personal apologies.
Even though we may disagree from time to time, I know that you are a friend of the Jewish people, and a friend of Israel.
Sincerely
Abraham Foxman
Then, just last week the ADL misrepresented Beck’s words on Soros.
From Glenn Beck Show:
STU: So here’s the quote again from you: I am certainly not saying that George Soros enjoyed that, even if he had a excuse me. I am certainly not saying that George Soros enjoyed that, even had a choice. I mean, he’s 14 years old. He was surviving. So I am not making a judgment, end quote.
Then two paragraphs later from Abe Foxman attacking you saying, quote: To hold a young boy responsible for what was going on around him during the Holocaust as part of a larger effort to denigrate the man is repugnant.
Did you even see the segment? Did you see the segment? Did you read the quote or did you just take an e mail from someone else and just pop something out?
It looks like the ADL owes Glenn Beck another apology.
