The Talmud – The Shame of Jewish People

In an effort to speak the truth about certain matters I will begin with my people; the Jews. I am of Jewish descent  and I am supportive of many of the ideas, beliefs and customs of Jews. There are however some things that are simply an embarrassment to me and should be an embarrassment to all Jewish people.

One such subject is the Talmud. The Talmud is considered a “holy writ” by Jewish people and it is held to a high opinion as superseding the Old Testament. It was originally written in Hebrew and is basically a codification of Jewish spoken (oral) law. 

The English translation is a bit “watered down” so as to not be as pointed and unsociable. It is however, believed to be law and as you will soon see, it is not tolerant nor accepting of anyone outside of Judaism (Gentiles).

Let’s look at a few of the passages which cannot be defended by claiming to be “taken out of context” because the statements are the context.

“If a ‘goy’ (Gentile) hits a Jew he must be killed.” (Sanhedrin 58b)

“If a Jew finds an object lost by a ‘goy’ it does not have to be returned.” (Baba Mezia 24a) 

“If a Jew murders a ‘goy’ there will be no death penalty.” (Sanhedrin 57a)

What a Jew steals from a ‘goy’ he may keep.” (Sanhedrin 57a)

“Jews may use subterfuges to circumvent a ‘goy.’” (Baba Kamma 113a) 

“All children of the ‘goyim’ (Gentiles) are animals.” (Yebamoth 98a)

“Girls born of the ‘goyim’ are in a state of ‘niddah’ (menstrual uncleanness!) from birth.” (Abodah Zarah 36b)

“The ‘goyim’ are not humans. They are beasts.” (Baba Mezia 114b)

“If you eat with a ‘goy’ it is the same as eating with a dog.” (Tosapoth, Jebamoth 94b)

“Even the best of the ‘goyim’ should all be killed.” (Soferim 15)

“Sexual intercourse between the ‘goyim’ is like intercourse between animals.” (Sanhedrin 74b)

“When it comes to a Gentile in peace times, one may harm him indirectly, for instance, by removing a ladder after he had fallen into a crevice.” (Shulkan Arukh, Yoreh De ‘ah, 158, Hebrew Edition only)

The above statements set the Jewish above all other people. I believe this type of language was used in Nazi Germany. Let’s examine how the Talmud refers to Jesus Christ; the basis for the world of Christian religion.

“Yashu (Jesus) was cut off from the Jewish people for his wickedness and refused to repent.” (Sotah 47a)

“Miriam the hairdresser had sex with many men.” (Shabbath 104b, Hebrew Edition only)

“She who was the descendant of princes and governors (the virgin Mary) played the harlot with carpenters.” (Sanhedrin 106a)

“Christians who reject the Talmud will go to hell and be punished there for all generations.” (Rosh Hashanah 17a)

I am a Jew and I know how the Jews view “outsiders”. ……. nothing but contempt for all humankind except for themselves. Jews use disdainful Yiddish words amongst themselves to describe the Gentiles:

“Goyim:” This is what the Jews derisively call Gentiles to indicate an “animal nature” of the Gentiles.

“Schwartza:” This is what the Jews derisively call blacks to indicate an “ape like nature” of the blacks.

“Shiksa:” This is what the Jews derisively call a Gentile woman to indicate a “carnal nature” of a Gentile woman. This Yiddish word “shiksa” is derivative of the Hebrew word “shegitz” which refers to the carcass of a pig.

“Goyisha Kup:” This is what the Jews derisively call another Jew who is stupid. “Goyisha Kup” means “Stupid Gentile Brain.”

“When presenting Old Testament proofs of the Messiahship of Jesus to the rabbis and their followers – one must penetrate the iron-clad grid of the Talmudic mind-set which according to Christ’s assertion makes the Scriptures of none effect. From the outset, the Christian must realize that the rabbis and their followers do not know their own Scriptures, and for that matter, do not care to know them. For they view the Talmud as superceding the Scriptures. Much patience is required when bringing the Gospel message to them, and perhaps at times, stern reproofs are necessary.” Michael A Hoffman II Historian and writer,  founder of Independent History & Research.

In Judaism, the Rabbi is very influential in the interpretation and advice of all things religious. Many Jews would never consider challenging a Rabbi on any issue and many Jews would simply view the idea of such as taboo. As a result, the Jewish community leaves the matter of the sacred writings and their meaning totally up to the Rabbi.

Most Christians look to the Jewish people for signs of the events in the Bible’s book of Revelation. The established Christian church confesses the book actually foretells the events that will lead to the end of the physical world and a dawning of the return of the Messiah, Jesus Christ. Since most Jews do not accept the New Testament of the bible as anything more than a collection of “short stories” it is widely claimed in the Jewish community that the christian church is simply worshiping a fantasy; a figment of the collective imagination. 

 Instead of reverence, most Jews view the New Testament as a farcical collection of lies and fairy stories adopted by an impotent and empty dogma-filled religion.

As I can attest, Jews are very competitive and (as the stereotype is confirmed) consistently excel in the world of business and commerce. As such, Gentiles often strive to go into business with Jews; which should be mutually profitable for all involved. The Talmud says it is OK to cheat the Gentile and even “kill the Gentile” if the Jew desires. 

While physical murder is not only condoned but is demanded of the Jewish, I believe the figurative financial murder happens far more often. The Gentile is literally “robbed blind“. I believe the Gentiles (especially Christians) are under the false impression that Jews are loyal to Christians and share the same belief system. 

Nothing could be farther from the truth. There is not sense of obligation nor any feelings of camaraderie felt by a Jew when dealing with a Christian. It is quite the opposite especially when money is involved. Most Jewish people view Christians with disdain because Christians represent Jesus Christ as the Messiah and they claim the Jewish people of the New Testament send the Messiah to his death by crucifixion. Why would Christians believe Jews are on their “religious side”?

I believe love and peace can survive: can strive in our world but we must all be willing to see, listen and decide what is the truth and what is a lie. As I have stated before, I simply want to give the entire world the opportunity to become educated and to hopefully form a peaceful coexistence in this world in which we live.
